You people have saved my life! My best friend and I travel to Vermont every year for foliage season, her from Oregon and me from San Diego. Due to the events in NYC and Washington, we were unable to make it this year. Our husbands didn't think it was such a good idea for us to go at this time so here we sit, broken-hearted, unable to see the beauty that our most favorite place in the world has to offer. From both of us, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for sharing your wonderful photos with us. We've decided that since we had to forego our trip this year, that we are going for 2 weeks next year to make up for it!

You are very fortunate to live and work in such an incredible place. Please don't take it for granted. You could be stuck in a place as overcrowded as San Diego.

I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your site. I was supposed to fly to Albany, NY on the 12th for a two week visit in Vergennes with my family but as you can see I am still in CA. and will remain so for the time being. Thank you for the wonderful foliage photos and for being there for a homesick transplanted "Vermonter"!!!!!

Dear VT Web people,
I was due to have a week's holiday in Vermont and Martha's Vineyard after working in Washington for the IMF, but as that is now canceled I have had to cancel my holiday too. I was really looking forward to seeing the fall colours in all their glory but have found your site is a more than ample substitute! Maybe next year I'll be able to join Vermonters in leaf peeping.

I am a native Vermonter. I've been living the last year of my life in LA (the evil "un-Vermont") and just want to thank you guys for Vermontdaily.com! I have been setting each new picture every day as the wallpaper on my computer at work. It definitely gets me through the long downtown work day.

I visited your lovely state once and do so enjoy visiting it again through these pictures. Yes, even the tractors and old barn sides are delightful to look at.

To whomever takes the great VT pictures and to those that maintain the daily photos section on the web page. I work in NYC and go up to VT as often as I can (which is never enough) and the best part of my day is looking at the pictures and selecting a new one for my wall paper. Then whenever I have free time I look at the picture and daydream of VT.

Hi, FANTASTIC!!! idea having daily photos of our beloved area--circumstances prevent us from being there at this time but, to paraphrase MacArthur---I hope to return!---occasional pictures of the local people at their daily activities and the beautiful landscape will keep me homesick constantly and focus us on being able to return to where we should be---VT!!!
