PEAK REPORT

The Vermont foliage season runs roughly 3 weeks, the last weekend of September through the first two weeks of October and that window may be extended on either end. The Northern end of the state will peak first, usually around the end of September. Here in the southern end of the state, the peak is roughly about the first or second week of October.

Southwestern Vermont: Can't say what's happening anywhere else, but around here it's like the foliage season that won't end. And as if the colors themselves are not awesome enough, the low light and dazzling red sunsets on the mountains is nothing short of stupifying. The photos of 10/21 and 10/25 are an example of that.
